How do I prepare for and care for my skin after each visit?

Before your visit

Arrive with clean skin if you can, and come 5 to 10 minutes early for your consultation
Skip strong exfoliating acids and retinol for 1 to 2 days beforehand
Avoid heavy sun exposure or tanning for 24 to 48 hours before
Do not pick or squeeze breakouts in the days before; leave extractions to your esthetician
Tell us about any medications (including acne prescriptions), allergies or skin conditions so we can tailor your treatment safely
Hydrate well and come makeup-free if you can

After your visit

Wear broad-spectrum SPF daily and avoid direct sun, which matters in the Florida climate
Skip heavy makeup for about 24 hours
Avoid heat (sauna, hot yoga, hot showers) for 24 to 48 hours
Hold off on strong actives such as retinol and acids for 1 to 2 days
